Everything you want to know before booking a move with us.
Pricing & Booking
Pricing & Booking Questions
How far in advance should I book?+
For a smooth move, we recommend booking 7–10 days ahead. During peak months (October–December, March–April), 15–20 days is better. For urgent moves, call us directly and we'll check availability right away.
How is the cost of moving calculated?+
The final price depends on the volume of goods (how much stuff you have), the distance between old and new locations, the service type you choose, and any special items that need extra care. We do a free survey before giving you a fixed quote.
Are there any hidden charges?+
No. The quote we give is the final price. We don't add fuel charges, weekend charges, toll charges, or labour charges at the last moment. Everything is clearly listed in the quote before you confirm.
What is your payment policy?+
Typically, a small advance is collected at booking (10–20% of total), and the balance is paid at the time of delivery. We accept UPI, NEFT, cheque, and cash.
Do you provide a written quotation?+
Yes. After the survey, we provide a written quote via email or WhatsApp listing all items, service details, and the final price. Nothing verbal only.
Can I cancel my booking after confirming?+
Yes. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the move date get a full refund of the advance. For last-minute cancellations, a small charge may apply. We understand plans change and try to be flexible.
Packing & Handling
Packing Questions
What packing materials do you use?+
We use multi-layer corrugated boxes, thick bubble wrap, foam sheets, stretch wrap, thermocol sheets, and wooden crates for high-value items. The type of material is chosen based on the item being packed.
Who does the packing — your staff or mine?+
Our trained packers handle all packing. You are welcome to supervise and point out any specific items that need special handling. You can also choose to pack some personal items yourself if preferred.
How are fragile items like crockery and glassware packed?+
Each glass and ceramic item is individually wrapped in bubble wrap, then placed in partitioned boxes with extra padding on all sides. The box is labelled FRAGILE and placed on top of heavier boxes in the vehicle.
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?+
Yes. Our team handles dismantling of beds, wardrobes, dining tables, and study furniture. At the new place, we reassemble everything and place it as per your instructions.
Will you pack gas cylinders and liquids?+
We cannot transport LPG cylinders by law. For liquids like cleaning agents, we recommend you carry them separately or dispose before the move to avoid leakage damage. We'll guide you on what to set aside.
Transport & Tracking
Transport Questions
Is transit insurance included?+
Basic transit cover is included in all packages at no extra charge. For high-value items like antiques, expensive electronics, or art, we recommend opting for full transit insurance which is available at a small additional premium.
Can I track my goods during transit?+
Yes. All our vehicles are GPS-equipped. Once your goods are loaded and dispatched, we share a tracking link with you so you can monitor the exact location of your shipment throughout the journey.
How long does inter-city delivery typically take?+
Delivery time depends on the distance. Short distances (up to 500 km) are usually delivered in 1–2 days. Medium distances (500–1500 km) take 3–5 days. Long distances (beyond 1500 km) take 5–8 days. We always give an estimated delivery date at booking.
What if my goods are delayed?+
Delays due to weather, road conditions, or vehicle issues are communicated immediately. For delays caused by us, we have a compensation policy. Your move manager will keep you updated at all times.
Will all my goods travel in one vehicle?+
For most household moves, yes — we try to load everything in one vehicle to avoid coordination issues. For very large moves, we may use two vehicles with the same driver contact for both.
Car Transport
Car Transport Questions
How is my car transported? Is it driven?+
Your car is loaded onto an enclosed auto-carrier trailer using a hydraulic ramp and strapped firmly. It is never driven by our staff. It stays on the carrier the entire journey and is unloaded at the delivery point.
What documents do I need for car transport?+
You'll need the RC book copy, car insurance copy, and a passport-size photo for booking. For two-wheelers, the same applies. Original documents are not required during transit.
Is car transport insured?+
Yes. Full transit insurance is mandatory for all car transport bookings — it's already included in the price. This covers any damage or loss during loading, transit, or unloading.
How long does car delivery take?+
Typically 3–7 working days for most inter-city routes. Long-distance routes (like Delhi to Chennai) can take up to 9–10 days. We give a firm delivery window at booking.
